Workout in the Kitchen
Did you know the average person consumes more than 4,500 calories in one day on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas? Just in case you don’t get your 10,000 steps going from the fridge to the stove to the counter and back, here are a few workouts you can do in the kitchen while that turkey is cooking and the wine is chilling. These exercises can be completed as sets or, for a certain amount time.
Here are three of Robert’s favorites. To see examples of how they are done, watch the video.
Exercise 1: Dining room chair dips
Exercise 2: Can-in-the-pan squats
Exercise 3: Countertop push-ups
You can also do wall squats and planks. Or, if you want to add some cardio to the mix try jumping jacks.
